Course Description

This course is designed to meet the needs of middle school and secondary students. The learning materials are also appropriate for anyone at the PRE-INTERMEDIATE level. It is recommended that you first work through the BEGINNER course, before starting this one. You can judge if you are ready for this level, by attempting all the lessons in the previous BEGINNER course. If you can work through all those lessons in a short span of time, feel free to jump into this course as soon as you are ready.

This course has enough activities for a full-year program. Follow the lessons from top to bottom once you are enrolled.

Learning a foreign language requires some daily or weekly face-to-face contact with a German teacher or tutor. In-person meetings with Dr. Bogard are currently only available for full-time students of NewGate Montessori IB in Sarasota, Florida. Check with your own local school district for available German tutors. They can follow your progress through this course and give you valuable feedback on your performance.

The course textbook in this class is: "German is Fun Book 1". The ISBN, publisher and author info is provided inside this course, so you can purchase your own copy or use a school edition located in the physical classroom.

Contact your local teacher for instructions on turning in your classroom assignments.

Every Time to Learn German student member is welcome to take this course with their own face-to-face instructor, and their own copy of the textbooks used in this curriculum no matter where in the world they live.
